Pittsburgh, PA, July 30, 2012: On Tuesday August 14, local food bloggers are invited to an exclusive dinner at The Porch at Schenley in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood. At the dinner, co-hosted by Pittsburgh Restaurant Week and the Buy Fresh Buy Local program, bloggers receive “Back-Kitchen-Access” to the mind of one of the Steel City’s premiere chefs, Kevin Hermann.

Kevin Hermann, Executive Chef at the Porch at Schneley

“Throughout my career as a chef, I’ve found it is increasingly difficult to convey the passion of food through advertising, which is why food bloggers are such an important part of the restaurant business. These dedicated bloggers can provide others with a truly genuine experience. One that includes their food, atmosphere, and overall experience. I feel honored and humbled to have a such a wide range of bloggers joining us for restaurant week. “ said Chef Kevin, of The Porch.
