Pittsburgh Restaurant Week has supported great organizations through raffles and donations collected at its kickoff events. In 2014, Pittsburgh Restaurant Week is weaving even more charitable benefit into the week-long dining deals being offered at participating restaurants.
For Winter 2014, the “Dine for a Cause” charity is the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation Transplantation Surgery Auxiliary. The Auxiliary is committed to increasing awareness and raising vital funds to support families and help children in need of life-saving treatment. Money raised will support programming and research at the Hillman Center for Pediatric Transplantation at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.
Participating restaurants with the special “Dine for a Cause” badge have committed to donate the 14 cents from each Pittsburgh Restaurant Week special to the charity.
Dine out at these restaurants from January 13-19, 2014 and support the “Dine for a Cause” promotion.
