Pittsburgh, PA, July 8, 2014: Before the week-long dining deals for Pittsburgh Restaurant Week – Summer 2014 begins at over 60 restaurants across the city, the Pittsburgh Restaurant Week Kickoff Party gives restaurants the opportunity to show diners what their taste buds are in for the week ahead. This cocktail party-style event includes festive cocktails, free samplings from PRW-participating restaurants, live DJ and charity raffles. The party begins on August 7, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the National Aviary on Pittsburgh’s historic northside.
Party-goers who attend the event will be provided the opportunity to browse menus and make restaurant week reservations, while experiencing a casual “foodie” atmosphere as participating restaurants circulate a preview of their PRW tastings. Online ticket sales for the party begin Monday, July 8, 2014, at 12:00 p.m.
Restaurants are excited to offer previews and compete for the title of “Best Preview Summer 2014” as voted by party-goers. Bocktown Bar and Grille, Blue Line Grille, Cornerstone, Lidia’s Italy Pittsburgh, Lola Bistro, Nine on Nine, Paris 66, Patrick’s Pub & Grille, The Wooden Nickel, Terrace Room, The Capital Grille, and Texas de Brazil will all offer samples to woo diners into their restaurants for Pittsburgh Restaurant Week.
