Extend the holiday celebration season through the New Year and renew your inner “foodie” at a preview party leading into Pittsburgh Restaurant Week – Winter 2013. On January 10, 2013, the Pittsburgh Restaurant Week Kickoff Party will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the showroom of the Mini of Pittsburgh dealership located in Bloomfield, east of the city’s center. The cocktail party-style event will include festive cocktails, free samplings from PRW-participating restaurants and charity raffles.

Party-goers who attend the event will be provided the opportunity to browse menus and make restaurant week reservations, while experiencing a casual “foodie” atmosphere as participating restaurants circulate a preview of their PRW tastings.

YelpYelp Pittsburgh is teaming up with Pittsburgh Winery to host a custom lounge experience during Restaurant Week’s Kickoff Party. Stop by to sample from Pittsburgh Winery’s assortment of reds and whites while taking a spin on Restaurant Roulette, where we’ll be offering a chance to win City Dining Cards, Yelp Schwag and a $50 gift certificate to one of PRW’s participating restaurants.


Garfield Community FarmGreater Pittsburgh Community Food BankCharity raffles have been assembled with the help of the Buy Fresh Buy Local program. Gift baskets, gift certificates will be available through a chinese auction. All raffle proceeds will be split evenly between the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and Garfield Community Farms.
