Pittsburgh, PA, November 15, 2013: Before the week-long dining deals for Pittsburgh Restaurant Week – Winter 2014 begin at over 50 restaurants across the region, the Pittsburgh Restaurant Week Kickoff Party gives restaurants the opportunity to woo diners into their restaurants for the week. The party begins on January 9, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bill Chisnell Productions located at 1111 Penn Avenue. The cocktail party-style event will include festive cocktails, free samplings from PRW-participating restaurants and charity raffles.
Party-goers who attend the event will be provided the opportunity to browse menus and make restaurant week reservations, while experiencing a casual “foodie” atmosphere as participating restaurants circulate a preview of their PRW tastings. Tickets for the party are available for purchase online for $50.
Restaurants, including Cornerstone Restaurant, Donato’s, Fukuda, Girasole, J Lynns Cafe, Kaleidoscope Cafe, Lola Bistro, Lombardozzi’s Restaurant, Marisqueira Bistro, Matteo’s, Merante Brothers Market, Nine on Nine, River City Grille, Savory Hill, Skinny Pete’s Kitchen, Terrace Room, The Capital Grille, The Carlton and Three Rivers Restaurant are excited to offer previews and compete for the title of “Best Winter Preview 2014” as voted by party-goers.
Money raised from the charity raffles will support programming and research at the Hillman Center for Pediatric Transplantation at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.
