Pittsburgh, PA, September 22, 2014: On this first day of fall, Pittsburgh Restaurant Week is pleased to announce the dates for the Winter 2015 celebration of January 12-18, 2015. The celebration will focus on highlighting Pittsburgh food and restaurants through New Dishes for the New Year. Patrons can expect to dine at participating restaurants across the area and choose from special menus including three-course fixed-price meals or $20.15 specialties.
In the seventh restaurant week celebration under the direction of Brian McCollum, the next installment of Pittsburgh Restaurant Week will be even bigger. New for Winter 2015, restaurants will have the option to extend their week-long celebration extra bonus days. Those restaurants that want to extend their restaurant week to a 10-day celebration will begin offering their specials Friday, January 9, the day directly following the kickoff party, through Sunday, January 18, 2015.
The anticipation for restaurant week continues to grow as does the innovative restaurant menus. This winter season Pittsburgh Restaurant Week will bring focus on giving restaurants the opportunity to offer a New Dish for the New Year. “Whether you are dining for the first time or re-discovering your favorite restaurant through a new dish; there is a restaurant near you, for you” said McCollum.
Restaurants interested in participating in the Winter 2015 celebration can take advantage of easy, online registration through the event website at a cost of $150. Restaurants are encouraged to take this opportunity to reinforce their bonds with the community and celebrate the growing food culture in Pittsburgh. Participation in bonus days or the kickoff party is available at no additional cost to the restaurants.
The complete list of participating restaurants and their dining deals will be announced on November 1st, 2014. For more information, visit pittsburghrestaurantweek.com/pghrestaurantwk.
